Roof-Tastic & Beyond Exteriors (formerly PGRS)

RESEARCH-BASED REVIEW, NOT A FIRST-HAND VISIT. Everything below comes from the public sources listed at the end, accessed on 2026-10-11. No one from Peachtree City Guide has hired this company or contacted it. Workmanship scores are provisional.

Licensing for roofing: Georgia has no state roofing license. Re-roofing of existing structures is a Limited Service Specialty: within that scope a roofer does not need a GA residential or general contractor license (https://sos.ga.gov/page/limited-service-specialty-contractors-policy-statements; O.C.G.A. § 43-41-17). Work outside the specialty, such as structural framing, additions or other non-roofing work on a residential job over $2,500, can need a residential or general contractor license (O.C.G.A. § 43-41-2; check at https://verify.sos.ga.gov/verification/, where our automated lookup was blocked by a bot check). Manufacturer certifications (GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, Atlas) are not licenses. We mark them verified only when we read them on the manufacturer’s locator. Always ask for certificates of general liability and workers’ comp insurance, written workmanship and manufacturer warranty terms (registered in your name), and who pulls any permit.

Scorecard

Quick facts

• Address (site, BBB, Exa): 417 Dividend Dr #A, Peachtree City, GA 30269.
• Phones on BBB search: (770) 486-3988 and others. Formerly “PGRS” (Birdeye page title).
• Site: “Since 2001 keeping Georgia homes safe”, “20+ Years Experience”, “Best of Georgia & Top 500 Remodeler — 3 years running!” (self-reported awards, not checked).

The short version

• Ratings: Exa Places 4.9 from 1,717 reviews, newest sampled 2026-02-25. Birdeye page title cites “870 Google Reviews” (an older snapshot).
• BBB: A+, accredited (BBB search results JSON; profile page blocked, so complaint details were not visible).
• Warranty: “manufacturer warranties (up to 50 years on CertainTeed products) PLUS our exclusive $10,000 Make It Right Guarantee” (site; terms not published in full).
• Financing and insurance-claim help offered (site).
• Other platforms & recent reviews: Yelp shows about 16 reviews, ~3.8★ in a search snippet (unconfirmed), well below the Google-derived 4.9; a HomeAdvisor profile exists (snippet, unconfirmed). Neither changes the score.

What customers say (themes)

• Sales consultants and project managers named repeatedly for clear explanations and patience.
• Low-pressure estimates; one reviewer contrasts it with companies that “upsell”.
• One reviewer notes the project “wasn’t 100% smooth” with some communication issues among subs but still rated 5★ (2025-11).
• Limitation: we read only the recent reviews visible on each aggregator page (Exa’s Google-derived snapshot shows about 8 per business) and Nextdoor recommendation text. We did not open Google, Yelp, Angi or Facebook directly, and rating counts differ between platforms.
• Recent reviews (last 24 months, n=8): most-mentioned compliments: communicative (7), professional (5), quality work (4); complaints: none. Other platforms are covered in “Other review platforms” below.

Credentials & red-flag check

Pricing, warranty & value

No prices published. Free estimates and financing (“low monthly payments, easy approval”; terms not reviewed). Ask for the written warranty and the “Make It Right” guarantee terms, and confirm the manufacturer warranty will be registered in your name.

Other review platforms (checked 2026-10-11)

No profile found, or blocked by a bot check: Nextdoor (page shell only), Houzz, Angi, Facebook. We did not get around any bot check. Yelp, Angi/HomeAdvisor, Houzz and BBB profile pages blocked automated access, and Facebook requires a login; values from those sites are search snippets labeled unconfirmed and never move a score.

Bottom line

The best-documented PTC roofer by volume, with BBB accreditation and a published guarantee. Before signing, get the warranty and guarantee terms in writing and ask for proof of the CertainTeed certification level, which we could not verify.
