Peachtree City Roofing, LLC

RESEARCH-BASED REVIEW, NOT A FIRST-HAND VISIT. Everything below comes from the public sources listed at the end, accessed on 2026-10-11. No one from Peachtree City Guide has hired this company or contacted it. Workmanship scores are provisional.

Licensing for roofing: Georgia has no state roofing license. Re-roofing of existing structures is a Limited Service Specialty: within that scope a roofer does not need a GA residential or general contractor license (https://sos.ga.gov/page/limited-service-specialty-contractors-policy-statements; O.C.G.A. § 43-41-17). Work outside the specialty, such as structural framing, additions or other non-roofing work on a residential job over $2,500, can need a residential or general contractor license (O.C.G.A. § 43-41-2; check at https://verify.sos.ga.gov/verification/, where our automated lookup was blocked by a bot check). Manufacturer certifications (GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, Atlas) are not licenses. We mark them verified only when we read them on the manufacturer’s locator. Always ask for certificates of general liability and workers’ comp insurance, written workmanship and manufacturer warranty terms (registered in your name), and who pulls any permit.

Scorecard

Quick facts

• Address (Exa): 503 Creekside Way, PTC 30269 (appears residential). Phone (470) 699-1113 (BBB, Nextdoor).
• Site: “family-run”, “over 25 years of hands-on roofing experience”, “owner personally present on every project site”.

The short version

• Ratings: Exa Places 5.0 from 22 reviews (site claims 36 Google reviews), newest sampled 2026-02-11.
• BBB: A+, accredited (search JSON).
• Nextdoor: 1 recommendation (Aug 2025: leak “fixed quickly”, “pricing was good”).

What customers say (themes)

• Owner and son on site daily; reviewers compared 5–8 quotes before choosing them.
• “Replaced my roof in 1 day as promised, and I didn’t find a single nail or scrap of debris” (2025-05).
• Worked with an insurance company on a claim (2025-02).
• Limitation: we read only the recent reviews visible on each aggregator page (Exa’s Google-derived snapshot shows about 8 per business) and Nextdoor recommendation text. We did not open Google, Yelp, Angi or Facebook directly, and rating counts differ between platforms.
• Recent reviews (last 24 months, n=9): most-mentioned compliments: quality work (7), professional (3), on time / punctual (2); complaints: none. Other platforms are covered in “Other review platforms” below.

Credentials & red-flag check

• ⚠️ “Licensed #OT26-022754” is a municipal credential, not a state license (accurately described as municipal on its own FAQ).

Pricing, warranty & value

No prices published. Free estimates; site mentions “transparent costs” and “flexible project financing options” (terms not reviewed). No written warranty terms found — ask for workmanship warranty length in writing.

Other review platforms (checked 2026-10-11)

No profile found, or blocked by a bot check: Birdeye, Yelp, Houzz, Angi/HomeAdvisor, Facebook. We did not get around any bot check. Yelp, Angi/HomeAdvisor, Houzz and BBB profile pages blocked automated access, and Facebook requires a login; values from those sites are search snippets labeled unconfirmed and never move a score.

Score breakdown (rubric §5.12 in site-plan.md)

The listed weights cover 90% of the score and recent customer experience (keyword analysis) covers the other 10%. Research-based scores cap at 9.0. See /how-we-score/. | Criterion | Weight | Score | Evidence | |—|—|—|—| | Credentials, licensing & insurance | 20% | 6 | Insurance amount stated + COI offered; “license” is municipal, not state | | Reputation | 25% | 8 | 5.0 / 22 (Exa) + Nextdoor | | Complaint handling | 15% | 8 | BBB A+, accredited | | Pricing & contract transparency | 15% | 7 | Free estimates, financing, itemized scope promised | | Responsiveness & availability | 10% | 7 | Reviews: quick leak repair, one-day replacement | | Warranty / guarantees | 10% | 5 | No written warranty terms found (not verified) | | Longevity & local presence | 5% | 7 | 25+ yrs trade experience claimed; local, home-based | | Recent customer experience (keyword analysis, last 24 months) | 10% | 9.1 | n=9 recent reviews (Exa Places (Google-derived); Nextdoor recommendation); 22 positive vs 0 negative theme mentions | | Overall | | 7.2 | 0.9 × 7.00 (weighted average of the rows above, using their listed weights) + 0.1 × 9.1 = 7.21 |

Bottom line

Small, owner-run and very well reviewed recently. The “license” number on its site is a local business certificate, not a state license (Georgia has none for roofing). Get the workmanship warranty in writing.
