Inclusion on Peachtree City Guide is not City approval or endorsement. For any tree that needs a PTC tree-removal permit, the City requires the contractor’s current Occupational Tax Certificate (business license) and an insurance declaration page showing general liability and workers’ compensation. Homeowners should get these documents from the contractor before work starts.

• Owner: Aaron Capannelli. The site says he is an ISA Certified Arborist and TRAQ qualified, and that there are two ISA Certified Arborists on staff.
• Note: 313 Dividend Dr is also the street address of a golf-cart business we reviewed (Golf Cart Masters); the unit numbers differ.

The short version

• Strongest third-party signal on the list: the Georgia Arborist Association names 770-Tree-Guy as a Preferred Contractor (it covers Fayette County). The GAA says listed contractors “have been vetted by the GAA and meet membership and program-specific criteria.”
• BBB: A+, accredited (Sharpsburg profile).
• Claims: “TCIA and ISA Accredited”, NCCCO-certified crane operators, full general liability and workers’ comp, and “We pull the permit and provide the paperwork the city requires.”
• Caveat: the PTC address shows up only on the PTC landing page. Its other pages and the BBB use Sharpsburg, so ask which crew and office will handle a PTC job.
