Milan’s Roofing

RESEARCH-BASED REVIEW, NOT A FIRST-HAND VISIT. Everything below comes from the public sources listed at the end, accessed on 2026-10-11. No one from Peachtree City Guide has hired this company or contacted it. Workmanship scores are provisional.

Licensing for roofing: Georgia has no state roofing license. Re-roofing of existing structures is a Limited Service Specialty: within that scope a roofer does not need a GA residential or general contractor license (https://sos.ga.gov/page/limited-service-specialty-contractors-policy-statements; O.C.G.A. § 43-41-17). Work outside the specialty, such as structural framing, additions or other non-roofing work on a residential job over $2,500, can need a residential or general contractor license (O.C.G.A. § 43-41-2; check at https://verify.sos.ga.gov/verification/, where our automated lookup was blocked by a bot check). Manufacturer certifications (GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, Atlas) are not licenses. We mark them verified only when we read them on the manufacturer’s locator. Always ask for certificates of general liability and workers’ comp insurance, written workmanship and manufacturer warranty terms (registered in your name), and who pulls any permit.

Pricing, warranty & value

No prices published. Ask for the 15-year workmanship warranty document and the metal manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Other review platforms (checked 2026-10-11)

No profile found, or blocked by a bot check: BBB, Nextdoor (page shell only), Birdeye, Yelp, Houzz, Angi. We did not get around any bot check. Yelp, Angi/HomeAdvisor, Houzz and BBB profile pages blocked automated access, and Facebook requires a login; values from those sites are search snippets labeled unconfirmed and never move a score.

Score breakdown (rubric §5.12 in site-plan.md)

The listed weights cover 90% of the score and recent customer experience (keyword analysis) covers the other 10%. Research-based scores cap at 9.0. See /how-we-score/. | Criterion | Weight | Score | Evidence | |—|—|—|—| | Credentials, licensing & insurance | 20% | 5 | Nothing published (not verified) | | Reputation | 25% | 7 | 5.0 / 17 (Exa), single platform | | Complaint handling | 15% | 5 | No BBB profile (not verified) | | Pricing & contract transparency | 15% | 5 | Nothing published | | Responsiveness & availability | 10% | 6 | Reviews: owner hands-on | | Warranty / guarantees | 10% | 8 | 15-year workmanship warranty published | | Longevity & local presence | 5% | 6 | 20+ yrs trade experience claimed | | Recent customer experience (keyword analysis, last 24 months) | 10% | 8.1 | n=7 recent reviews (Exa Places (Google-derived)); 15 positive vs 0 negative theme mentions | | Overall | | 6.2 | 0.9 × 5.95 (weighted average of the rows above, using their listed weights) + 0.1 × 8.1 = 6.17 |

Bottom line

A good fit to get a quote from if you want metal roofing, with a longer published workmanship warranty than most. Thin paperwork otherwise; ask for insurance certificates.
