Terms of Use
Effective date: October 13, 2026
These terms apply when you use peachtreecityguide.com, run by Peachtree City Guide (“we”, “us”). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or post a review.
- Give accurate information, verify your email, and keep your password private. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Don’t create accounts for someone else or to get around a suspension.
Review rules
Reviews must follow our Review Guidelines. In short: you must be signed in with a verified account; reviews must describe your own firsthand experience; owners, employees, their family members and competitors can’t review the business, even if they disclose who they are; and you must disclose anything you received for reviewing. We moderate every review and may approve, return for edits, label, decline or remove content that breaks the rules.
Each member review, comment and rating reflects only the views of the person who wrote it, not Peachtree City Guide. We don’t write, verify or endorse member comments. Verifying your account doesn’t mean we’ve verified what you say, and approving a review doesn’t mean we agree with it. You are responsible for what you post.
Your content and the license you give us
You keep ownership of the reviews, ratings, photos and other content you post. By posting, you give Peachtree City Guide a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, format, translate and distribute that content on the site and in related features, promotion and search listings, and to let others do so in connection with the site. This license lasts until you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared, cached or kept in backups or as required by law. You promise that you have the right to post your content and that it doesn’t break the law or anyone’s rights.
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Post fake, paid, incentivized-without-disclosure or conflict-of-interest reviews, or review your own business or a competitor.
- Post false statements of fact, harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content or anyone’s personal information.
- Offer or accept anything to change a review or rating, or pressure anyone to change or remove one.
- Post ads, spam or promotional links.
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks or other rights.
- Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection to a business.
- Scrape, copy in bulk, or use bots on the site without our written permission.
- Hack, overload or interfere with the site or its security.
- Break any law.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. When you do, your reviews are deleted by default; you can instead choose to keep them on the site, shown under “Former member”. We may suspend or end your account, or remove your content, if you break these terms or the Review Guidelines, or to protect the site or other people. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as the license for content already shared, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and governing law) continue after termination.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Guide Scores are our opinions based on public data as of a stated date. Nothing on the site is professional, medical or legal advice, and nothing implies endorsement. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage from your use of the site or your dealings with any business. Full details are on our Legal & Disclaimers page, which is part of these terms.
Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against Peachtree City Guide because of content you posted, your use of the site, or your breaking these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including attorney’s fees, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and by applicable US federal law. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in or serving Fayette County, Georgia, and you agree to those courts’ jurisdiction.
Your right to review
Nothing in these terms limits your right to post an honest review of a business, as protected by the Consumer Review Fairness Act.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, give notice on the site or by email. If you keep using the site after changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
