General disclaimer

Peachtree City Guide is an independent review and directory site for Peachtree City, Georgia. Everything here is opinion and general information. We work to keep it accurate, but we make no promise that it is complete, current or error-free, and we provide it “as is” without warranties of any kind.

  • Verify before you hire. Confirm licenses, insurance, prices, hours and terms with the business and the relevant agency yourself.
  • Not professional advice. Nothing on this site is legal, medical, financial, tax or other professional advice.
  • No endorsement. A listing, score, ranking, review or ad does not mean we endorse, recommend or guarantee a business, and no business is affiliated with us unless we clearly say so.

Guide Scores are opinions

A Guide Score (0 to 10) is our editorial opinion. It is built from public information: reviews on other websites, state license and public-record checks, and a keyword scan of review text. Most reviews are research-based, meaning we did not visit or hire the business; each review says which kind it is. Full method: How We Score.

  • Each score reflects the public data we found as of the date shown on the review. Businesses change, and so can the data.
  • A missing or blocked record is reported as “unverified”, which is not a finding that a business is unlicensed or did anything wrong.
  • Corrections and disputes: if a fact is wrong, tell us through our contact page or at [email protected] (members and visitors) or [email protected] (businesses), with a source if you have one. We fix verified factual errors within 7 days and log them on Corrections. We don’t change opinions on request, but businesses may ask for a right of reply.

Member reviews and other user content

Each member review, comment and rating reflects only the views of the person who wrote it, not Peachtree City Guide. We don’t write, verify or endorse member comments. We check that a reviewer has a verified, signed-in account and that owners, employees, their family members and competitors don’t review the business, but we don’t confirm that what a member says is true. Approving a review under our moderation rules doesn’t mean we agree with it.

  • We moderate member content under our Review Guidelines and may decline, return, label or remove content that breaks them. We don’t remove reviews just because they are negative.
  • Section 230: under the federal Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230), the person who writes content is responsible for it. Peachtree City Guide is not the publisher or speaker of content provided by members, and moderating it in good faith doesn’t change that.
  • Consumer Review Fairness Act: we support your right to post honest reviews. Under federal law (15 U.S.C. § 45b), businesses generally can’t use contract terms to stop customers from posting honest reviews or penalize them for doing so. Our own terms never restrict honest reviews.
  • To report a review, use the “Report” link on the review or email [email protected] (members and visitors) or [email protected] (businesses).

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

We follow the FTC’s guidance on endorsements and reviews.

  • No one can pay for a score. We never accept money, gifts or favors to create, raise, lower or remove a Guide Score, a ranking or a member review.
  • Display ads: the site shows advertising, which may come from Google or other ad networks. Ads are labeled and kept separate from reviews and listings. Advertisers get no say over scores or reviews.
  • Affiliate links and referrals: some links may earn us a commission or referral fee if you buy or request a quote. When they do, we label them. They never change a score or ranking.
  • Lead tracking: we may measure clicks, calls or quote requests sent to businesses. This never affects scores.
  • If a business gives us anything free, the review says so.
  • Faith, community and club directory listings are never scored or sold for placement.

Trademarks and business names

Business names, logos and trademarks on this site belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the businesses we describe. That use doesn’t mean the owner sponsors, endorses or is connected to Peachtree City Guide. “Peachtree City Guide” is not affiliated with the City of Peachtree City or any government agency.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Peachtree City Guide and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from relying on its content, or from dealing with any business listed on it. That includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential and punitive damages. Your dealings with a business are between you and that business. Some places don’t allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

We link to business websites, review sites, government records and other sources. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices or availability. A link is not an endorsement.

Medical and health listings

Reviews of doctors, dentists, therapists and other health providers cover patient-experience themes and public records only. They are not medical advice and don’t judge clinical quality. Confirm credentials, insurance and whether a provider is right for you directly with the provider and your insurer. Never post health information about yourself or anyone else in a review. In an emergency, call 911.
