About Peachtree City Guide
Peachtree City Guide is an independent review and directory site for one town: Peachtree City, Georgia. We don’t cover the whole metro. Just the businesses, groups and places of worship here at home.
What we do
We research local businesses the slow way: reading reviews on other sites, checking state license records, BBB ratings and health inspections, and reading what the business says about itself. Then we write it up, score it on a published checklist, and cite every source. You can see the whole method on How We Score.
Most of our reviews are research-based, which means we built them from public sources and didn’t visit or hire the business. Each one says so right at the top. If we visit or hire a business ourselves, that review is labeled first-hand.
Two ratings, never blended
- Guide Score (0–10): our editorial rating, built from public records and reviews on other sites.
- Community Rating (stars): from reviews by verified Peachtree City Guide members. Every review is moderated, and owners can’t review their own business.
Churches, clubs and nonprofits
Our Churches and Clubs & Organizations sections are a free directory, not reviews. Those listings are never scored, rated or ranked, and they’re sorted by group and then alphabetically.
Independent, and staying that way
We’re not affiliated with the City of Peachtree City, Visit Peachtree City or the State of Georgia. No business can pay for a score, a higher spot, or a softer review.
